Here’s a vintage Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass vintage book by Lewis Carroll. The beautiful illustrations are done by John Tenniel. Lewis Carroll is the pen name of Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (now known as Alice in Wonderland) and Through the Looking Glass is a story about a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole and finds herself in a psychedelic land of fantasy with talking animals and anthropomorphic playing cards.

John Tenniel’s illustrations are beautiful and has inspired the vivid visuals for movies and animated cartoons. This 1941 Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass vintage book is printed by The Heritage Illustrated Bookshelf, New York: The Heritage Press.
The first edition of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass was printed in 1865 in London. The first American edition was printed in 1869. Alice in Wonderland continues to become a favorite among young and old.
Here is a vintage childrens book titled “Alice Favorites” based on Disney’s Alice in Wonderland characters, and others, and fairytales. Alice returns to Wonderland and joins an unbirthday party with Mad Hatter, March Hare, and Dormouse. Along Alice’s path she visits Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Queen of Hearts, the Walrus and the Carpenter. From them Alice learns Wonderland wonders never cease. This vintage Alice Favorites book was copyrighted in 1973.
Here’s a vintage Alice in Wonderland figurine made by Napco in 1956. Alice is seen in a light yellow dress along with the White Rabbit wearing a black vest, holding and pointing to his clock. This vintage Alice in Wonderland figurine stands about 5″ tall and about 2.5″ wide. The bottom front of this vintage figurine reads “Alice in Wanderland”.” “Wonderland” was apparentlymisspelled on all figurines that were produced. The bottom is marked “A1943″.
Here is an Alice in Wonderland Teapot set designed by Paul Cardew entitled Tea for One. The teapot features Alice with the Mad Hatter and March Hare. The cup features Alice swimming with several other characters. The 16oz. teapot nest on top on the 10oz. tea cup. When this Alice in Wonderland teapot set is together, it measures approx. 5.5″ tall. The teapot measures about 6.5″ from its spout to the handle. The cups measures approx 2.25″ tall and measures 4.25″ across the top.
